Day 1

Now that you have eaten, go straight to The City Palace. It is the royal residence and former administrative headquarters of Rajasthan. It is a complex consisting of buildings, pavilions, gardens, and temples.
Here you can visit Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple, and the City Palace Museum.
Now after roaming around, head straight for some light shopping. And the best place for shopping in Jaipur is Bapu Bazaar.
This is one of the oldest and best markets in Jaipur city and the best place to buy textiles such as ladies’ pants, casual shirts, polo t-shirts, and embroidered tops. This Bapu Bazaar of Jaipur is located on MI Road between the Sanganer Gate and the New Gate of the Pink City.
Now it is afternoon, you must be tired and hungry. So head straight to The Tattoo Cafe & Lounge for lunch. It is a multi-cuisine restaurant and tattoo studio.
Here you can comfortably enjoy the view of Rajasthan’s heritage Hawa Mahal while having lunch. Its address is 30, 3rd Floor, Rang Bihari Temple, Badi Chaupar, Opposite Hawa Mahal, Pink City, Jaipur.

Now that lunch is over, let’s visit Jaipur.
So go straight to Patrika Gate. It is called the ninth gate of Jaipur which is located in the center of Jaipur. Patrika Gate is the entrance to Jawahar Circle Park. This gate is one of the most photographed places in India.
Now that you have taken selfies, let’s go to Chokhi Dhani.
This is a 10-acre village in Jaipur which was established in 1989. This has been created to showcase Rajasthani culture and heritage. Here you can watch Folk performances, and puppet shows, and do camel and elephant rides, boating, and many more.
But be on time, because it will be evening now. And have dinner in this village where you can have Dal Bati Churma and ghee-based sweets.
Now sleep early at night because you have to wake up early in the morning.
Day 2

On the second day of your 7-day Rajasthan itinerary, wake up early and head straight to the Jal Mahal also known as Water Palace.
From here you will get to see a beautiful sunrise which you will not be able to forget easily. It is a five-story palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur which is made of red sandstone in Rajput style.
After seeing the morning sunrise, have breakfast nearby and head straight to Amber Fort.
This is a main tourist attraction in Jaipur which is called a palace complex in Amer. It was the main home of the Rajput Maharajas and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After seeing Amber Fort, head straight towards Aigarh Fort. This fort was built to protect the Amber Fort in 1726. This is a popular tourist attraction from where a great view can be taken.
Now after visiting both these forts, if you want to see the best view of sunset then head towards Nahargarh Fort.

It is also called a hunting palace. From here you can take a wonderful view when the sun sets and at night you can take a night view of the city.
Now that you have traveled so much, let’s take some rest and eat something.
For dinner, you can go to either Steam Restaurant or Bar Palladio.
Steam is a lounge bar and restaurant located in the Rambagh Palace and Bar Palladio is an Italian restaurant and cocktail lounge located in the gardens of the Narain Niwas Palace Hotel.
Now you have visited almost the whole of Jaipur, after visiting Jaipur comes the turn of Jodhpur.
Day 3

Now you have reached Jodhpur in your 7-day Rajasthan itinerary.
So wake up in the morning and let’s have some breakfast. So head straight towards Shahi Samosa Arora Namkeen Snack Bar, Jodhpur. Although there is no place to sit here the food is quite tasty.
Here you can taste samosas, mirchi vada, mirchi bada, onion kachori, and mirchi ka pakoda.
Now that the food is done, let’s go for a walk and go towards Jaswant Thada.
This is a white marble cenotaph and memorial which was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh in 1899. This is an example of Rajasthani architecture in which the influence of both Hindu and Mughal can be seen.
After visiting Jaswant Thada, head towards Mehrangarh Fort which is a museum and one of the largest forts in India.
This is a very big palace that has a museum, temples, and palace rooms. This palace is also called the “Fort of the Sun”.

After visiting both the Forts, you must be tired and feeling hungry, so let’s go to eat Daal Baati Churma at Maa Bhawani’s Opposite Royalty Naka, Kabir Nagar, Jodhpur, Rajasthan 342003.
You will also get a place to sit in this Rajasthani restaurant and you can eat as much as you want here.
After eating, walk towards Navchokia (blue streets). It is a part of the old town of Jodhpur, which is called Blue City because of its traditional blue houses and delicate architecture.
Here you will find that Navchokiya is made up of narrow lanes, hanging wires, and spit-stained streets.
So now let’s continue the journey towards Pachetia Hill from where you can see a wonderful sunset.
It is a popular destination for both locals and tourists which is near the ancient Mehrangarh Palace. If you have missed the sunset from Mehrangarh Fort then Pachetiya Hill is another option to enjoy the beautiful sunset.
Now that today’s sightseeing is over, let’s go to take some rest and satisfy your hunger.

On the fourth day of our 7-day Rajasthan Itinerary, you reached Jaisalmer. So wake up first and have breakfast here.

After breakfast, leave for Jaisalmer Fort which is called The Golden Fort or Sonar Qila.
Jaisalmer Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site from where you can get a spectacular view of Jaisalmer city.

Now after having food let’s go towards Kothari’s Patwon Ki Haveli / Patwa Haveli.
This is a cluster of 5 havelis which was built by Guman Chand Patwa in 1805. This is one of the most impressive havelis in and around Jaisalmer Fort, which has both Rajputana and Mughal styles.
After visiting the Havelis, let’s go to Gadisar Lake where you will be able to see a wonderful view of the sunset along with boating.
Actually, Gadisar Lake is a man-made lake that was built by King Rawal Jaisal in 1156 AD for rainwater harvesting.
It’s evening time and there is time left, why not do some shopping?
In Jaisalmer, you will find many shops for shopping where you can buy a lot of things.
After shopping let’s have dinner. For this, you can either go to Café The Kaku Jaisalmer or The Panorama Jaisalmer cafe restaurant.
Cafe The Kaku is a rooftop restaurant where you can enjoy gala dinners, folk artist performances, DJ and trance parties, drinks, fire shows, and fireworks.
And Panorama Jaisalmer is a cafe restaurant where you can enjoy vegan dishes.

Day 5

On the fifth day of your 7-day Rajasthan Itinerary, you have to wake up early and get the best view of sunrise from Bada Bagh.
Bada Bagh is a garden complex where there is a collection of chhatris which were made in honor of the Maharaja of Jaisalmer and his family.
After seeing the morning sunrise, let’s have breakfast at Dolat Ji Dal Pakwan. Daulat ji’s dal dish is very famous in Jaisalmer.
After breakfast, let’s go to visit a strange village, this is Kuldhara village of Jaisalmer.
It is called the Hunted Village of Jaisalmer which is an abandoned village. Although it is a popular tourist destination after sunset the locals close the gates here.
Now after watching something scary, if you want to have some fun then go to Sam Sand Dunes where you can do jeep safari, dune bashing, camel safari & sunset.
Here you can comfortably enjoy Rajasthani culture & cuisine in the evening and enjoy camping in the Thar Desert the whole night.
But sleep on time because you have to move towards a new destination the next day.

On day 6 of your 7-day Rajasthan itinerary, you reach Udaipur where you can have breakfast at Jagadish Shree Restaurant – Namkeen.
